Inec after the introduction of permanent voters card (PVC) introduces The Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) which is an exercise meant for the registration of citizens who turned 18 years of age after the last registration exercise; or those who for one reason or another could not register in the previous exercises.
This process is being carried out by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). INEC is an electoral body established by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria among other things to organize elections into various political offices in the country.
